Urban Native Era will hold a one-day pop-up at Tidelands in Seattle on Saturday, Nov. 14, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

The Indigenous-owned fashion brand will bring exclusive merchandise and a selection of its signature apparel, headwear and accessories. A sample sale will include past-season pieces and items from previous collections.

The pop-up takes place during Native American Heritage Month at the Indigenous-owned retail space founded by photographer and artist Matika Wilbur.

"When I first started Urban Native Era, Seattle quickly became a place I returned to often," founder and creative director Joey Montoya said in the release.

Montoya, who is Lipan Apache, is a multimedia artist, fashion designer and entrepreneur. Born and raised in San Francisco, he started Urban Native Era in San Jose in November 2012, first using photography and video to increase Indigenous visibility online. Its first shirts followed in May 2013. The brand is known for its You Are On Native Land message and hummingbird logo.

Tidelands is at 55 University St. in Seattle. The first 50 arrivals receive an Urban Native Era tote bag.
